How It Works
- Unwinding & Tension Control: Large rolls of raw material are continuously fed into the system. Automated tension control prevents stretching or tearing.
- Printing Stations: Each color station uses an engraved anilox roller to transfer precise, uniform amounts of ink to the flexible printing plate.
- Variable Repeat: The ability to change gears or utilize servo motors allows the machine to vary the cylinders rotation, easily accommodating different print lengths on the fly without changing entire cylinders.
- Drying & Curing: After each color is applied, the web passes through infrared (IR) or UV drying tunnels to lock the ink in place.
- Rewinding: The printed web is meticulously inspected by on-line cameras and rewound into a finished, neatly wound roll
